BRAG ON YOUR STUDENTS WITH THESE CUTE POSITIVE AFFIRMATION CARDS
This collection of 48 self-esteem positive affirmation cards will appeal to younger students with its simple – but powerful- language and adorable, colorful animal artwork. The messages encourage children to reinforce positive self-talk and identify their strengths. Moreover, you can use them as reward tags. For instance, hey provide fun recognition of students in your trauma sensitive classroom and positive behavior management program.
These positive affirmation cards are perfect for gifting to students to remind them that they are worthy of love and belonging, always and unconditionally. They also reinforce positive self-talk, a skill that is vital to self-compassion and developing an internal locus of control.
Students can use them in friendship groups, collage making, and other crafts during small group counseling and classroom art activities. Also, you can brag on your students since they also work as collectible “reward” cards. Perfect for both teachers and school counselors to use. Or place them in your child’s lunch box!
What makes these self-esteem building cards unique is that most are not performance or behavior-based. They are affirmations of each child’s inherent value. They send the message “YOU MATTER.”
I used these to create a banner-style bulletin board in my office. Kids love looking at them and they appeal on many levels with cute animals, sports, and affirmation themes. I use the cards with less color to give to students to remind them of their effort, or as they leave my office following individual sessions when they need a pick-me-up. Students in friendship groups pick one to give to a friend. I have also used them for a classroom lesson on affirmations, as rewards for meeting goals, as surprise notes on student desks. Thanks for a fantastic and versatile resource!

I love these little cards. I am really big proponent of affirmations. This is the perfect way to send positive messages to students.

I work with Teens in trauma and have used this resource especially when a student needs a boost. I just sporadically find one that suits the situation and secretly leave it on their desk. They treasure them and it seems to help them through whatever it is that is causing them pain at the time. I laminated them and let them keep as a reminder of what I see in them.

I laminated these and we pull one from the box each morning on our way to school. My kindie girl reminds me that we need to pull and discuss the affirmation so she can grow internally. I work with self published authors and get lots of books about mindfulness and positive self views so she absolutely adores these along with what she’s already read about! Thank you!
