More than ever, children and teens are overstressed and filled with worries. Being able to recognize the various signs of anxiety in children and teens is key to being able to better support them. An anxious brain is a distracted brain. Behavior that often gets labeled as ADHD or Oppositional Defiance might really be behavior communicating a student struggling with anxiety. This free infographic can be useful in professional development and staff meetings when discussing trauma-informed interventions at school.
