How to Play the Printable Coping with Anxiety Card Game

Based on shedding-style games, the goal is to be the first player to discard all your cards. Players match the top card in the discard pile by number, color, or symbol. If the card includes an anxiety-related prompt, the player responds before continuing. Each player may also use two Pass Tickets if they prefer to skip.

.

Action Cards That Add Excitement

  • Take 3: The next player must draw three cards before their turn.

  • Rotate Right / Rotate Left: All players pass their hands in the chosen direction.

  • Go Again: The player immediately takes another turn.

  • Free!: The player chooses a new color (or shape) and discards an extra card.

  • Free + Spy!: The player peeks at another player’s hand, then chooses a new color (or shape) and discards an extra card.

.

How to Play the Digital Coping with Anxiety Connect Game

  • Players or teams take turns choosing a number on the game board.

  • Each number corresponds to a coping skills or stress management prompt.

  • After answering, they cover that number with a pawn.

  • The first to complete a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line of 4 or 5 wins.

.
